LangFeed launches on Android, bringing lessons built from TikToks, films and songs to both app stores
The Wyoming-built app turns the content people already watch into structured lessons across 21 languages. From today it runs on Google Play alongside iOS.

LangFeed, the language-learning app that builds its lessons out of the videos, songs and shows people already watch, is available on Google Play from today. The Android release puts the app on both major mobile platforms, following its launch on Apple's App Store.
The app starts from a blunt observation about why people quit. Most learners do not abandon a language because the grammar defeated them. They abandon it because a year in, the sentences they have been drilled on are ones no human being would say, and the song, the film or the conversation that made them want to learn in the first place is still out of reach.
LangFeed takes the content the learner already cares about — a TikTok, an Instagram Reel, a YouTube video, a page of a book, a photograph of a restaurant menu — and turns it into a full breakdown: a transcript, a line-by-line translation, the grammar explained in plain language, and the cultural context that explains why a phrase gets said at all, and when saying it would be a mistake.
People don't quit because verb tables are hard. They quit because a year in, they still can't follow one line of a song they love. So we started from the content and worked back to the curriculum, instead of the other way round.
What the app does
Around that core, LangFeed runs a set of features that owe more to a games console than to a textbook.
Video-call missions
A live video call with an AI tutor who sets a task — introduce yourself, explain why you are learning. She marks every answer for accuracy and fluency, corrects mistakes as they happen, and gives the learner three lives. When the call ends, every line either of you said becomes a study deck.
Films and series, broken down line by line
Hand-picked episodes where every line is tappable: hear it, read the translation, or send it straight to a vocabulary deck. Japanese from VIVANT, Korean from Business Proposal, Spanish from El Chapo.
Arcade drills for the hard parts
Script Blaster shoots falling characters out of the sky in Hiragana, Katakana, Hangul, Cyrillic, Greek and Thai. Word Rush makes learners say words back out loud against a clock. Writing practice scores characters stroke by stroke.
Retention that is not guesswork
Spaced-repetition quizzes resurface a word at the point the learner is about to lose it, and any word, phrase or breakdown exports as a ready-made Anki deck with audio and translations for people who already have a system.
Android was never a porting exercise. The video calls, the arcade games, the offline decks — all of it was rebuilt natively. If it isn't as good as the iPhone version, it doesn't ship.

LangFeed teaches 21 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Polish, Greek, Croatian, Romanian, Thai, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese and Czech. The interface itself is available in five: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and German.
Pricing and availability
LangFeed is free to download on iOS and Android, with starter credits, AI audio breakdowns, grammar explanations, practice quizzes and progress tracking included at no cost. LangFeed Premium adds ten times the content analyses, advanced AI models, unlimited practice, the full 84,000-word dictionary, Anki exports and offline downloads, at $6.99 weekly, $12.99 monthly or $79.99 annually. There are no feature tiers above that and no language is sold separately.
